How We Got Started

The Opportunity Project is the newest member of The Performers Academy ( jaxtpa.org) non-profit family. It was created from a need to continue to support young people as they aged out of school and still wanted and needed support to be successful as adults. We are currently funded to deliver The Opportunity Project in Duval county until May 2027, funded by Kids Hope Alliance and the City of Jacksonville.

Who We Support

We still focus on underserved young people but primarily focus on those aged 17-23. We currently deliver the program in Duval county only but are looking to expand to other counties and regions in Florida.

Served 44 Students in the Last 12 Months

82% Positive Achievement Rate for Those Students Who have Completed Our Program

90% Increase in Confidence Levels in at Least Two Areas of Focus for All of Our Students
